About Rhodesian Ridgeback

Imagine living life with a Rhodesian Ridgeback by your side - a canine companion that's as loyal as they come, with a heart full of courage and devotion. These magnificent dogs are easily recognized by a distinct ridge of hair running down their backs, which is actually in reverse direction to the rest of their coat. They showcase a beautiful mantle of short, dense hair in light wheaten to red wheaten shades.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks possess a calm and intelligent disposition, always on the lookout to safeguard their loved ones. These dogs are a bit reserved but not shy, and their love for family is beyond measure. It's always a joy to come home to their upbeat wagging tails and expressive eyes.

Taking care of them involves regular exercise, as these dogs love staying active. Remember our Ridgebacks were originally bred for large game-hunting, after all! You'll also need to have a strong, consistent training approach as these dogs are quite independent. But don't worry, their desire to please and strong bond with their families makes training a delightful experience.

What makes Ridgebacks particularly special is the combination of their regal appearance and heart-warming personality. Their presence is enough to brighten up any household. Our beloved Ridgebacks truly are the epitome of beauty, brains, strength and unwavering companionship.
