Pumis have a unique heritage; they are a result of the intersection between the Puli and French and German herding dogs, which created their distinguishable curly-coated appearance and agile herding instinct.
This Hungarian breed is renowned for its impressive jumping ability. Agile and athletic, the Pumi can spring high into the air and has been affectionately called the "Hungarian Master Jumper."
